In most cases, we can fill orders with 3-4 days notice.  For large events such as weddings or any other event with more than 50 people, we ask for 2 weeks notice.

Fondant is a sugar dough that is made with some of the same ingredients as chewing gum.  Its not chewy like gum, but it is similiar to gum in its elasticity and texture.  

Fondant finishes a cake with a smooth, shiny finish.  Though many people prefer the flavor and texture of more classic toppings like buttercream frosting, fondant is popular for its sleek, modern look.  

If a cake needs to have a strong color, such as ruby red or dark blue, we recommend fondant for its ability to hold color.  After being applied to cake, fondant cures and hardens slightly.  At this point the color will, for the most part, remain on the cake.  Buttercream frosting dyed red has a tendency to stain the clothes of everyone in the room, even when no kids are involved.
